The game can load upto 24 Hostile Mobs, 24 Farm Animals, 16 Squids, 16 Villagers, 3 Withers, and 1 Ender Dragon at a time.
While these are much stricter than the Legacy Console Edition Mob Caps. You can remove the Spawn Limitations with the Following Mod: "Mob Cap Remover".
This will not affect performance at all (unless you spawn ridiculous number of mobs).
The "small" world size is: 672x672 blocks.
The "medium" world size is: 1344x1344 blocks.
The "large" world size is: 2016x2016 blocks.
You cannot change these settings after the initial world creation via World Settings.
These sizes are much bigger than the Legacy Console Edition Worlds even when they are on Superior Hardware.
The Block-Height Limit is 128 Blocks.
Local Multiplayer supports upto two Players who are in close proximity of each-other.
And each player needs to have a copy of Minecraft 3DS for Local Play, as the game does NOT support Download Play.
Minecraft 3DS was programmed in GLSL (shaders), ARMv7 Assembly, C, and C++.
Minecraft 3DS was Developed by Shovelware and Indie Studio Other Ocean in collaboration and support from Mojang.
Minecraft 3DS is Region-Locked and has Anti-Piracy measures for DLC specifically as well.
Additionally the game Cartridge was only available in North America. While Europe, and Japan where only available to be purchased online.
As it stands Minecraft 3DS Modding is still in the early stages. However the community has three current Modders that make our most ground-breaking Mods and Tools.
Cracko298, STBrian, and Anonymous941. With ex-members of the Modding community being DeadSkullzJr.
Cracko298 and STBrian are our Main Team and Know much more about the game than anybody else before them.
STBrian - Specializes in Low-Level Modifications to most File Formats inside of the Games' ROMFS.
Anonymous941 - Specializes in SaveGame Knowledge.
DeadSkullzJr - Specialized in everything in general.
Cracko298 - Specializes about Memory Management and ARMv7-M Instructions.
With our current knowledge, we know how to Add in New Mobs, Blocks, Biomes, Structures, Audio/SFX.
While being able to replace and set Textures, Music, Memory, and JSON Behaviors.
We have many ways of Contacting people that built the site, forms, and more.
However the easiest way to submit content is to join our Discord Server. And ask in our Modding or Off-Topic Channels.
We're very busy, but are traditionally able to submit and upload your content to the Site and the UniStore within 2-3 days.
There was a Mod in development that enabled Online-Play and was the closest any other attempt ever was to Working Flawlessly.
Unfortunately the Project was scrapped/delayed indefinitely due to Drama and time Constraints of the Modders.
With this being said there is NO Online Multiplayer in the Base-Game (which was planned) or Modding-Wise.
Minecraft 3DS (better known as 3DS Edition, or Just MC3DS), is a version of MCPE that was re-written to be compatible with the "New" Nintendo 3DS consoles in-mind.
The game is very buggy, and was developed by (Other Ocean) a shovelware-like indie studio that specializes in Mobile Games and asset flips.
MC3DS is quite interesting because of how unique and poorly the game was written and programmed.
Minecraft 3DS is entirely based off of Minecraft Pocket Edition v0.15.4, which makes it the closest version to MC3DS. But not really.
A sort of a "well yes, but mostly no" situation. The closest Windows 10 (Bedrock) version is Beta v1.1.5, and Javas' closest version is v1.12.0 to MC3DS.
Before answering this question we do NOT support piracy what-so-ever.
Pre-April 2023, you could purchase and install Minecraft 3DS in any region or buy a new/used Hard-Copy in North America.
The game is now not able to be downloaded or installed Legally Unless the Player buys a Used/New Physical North American copy of MC3DS.
Minecraft 3DS has a few Decomps, only one of which is Public. And the other 3 are all private.
The public decomp isn't even close to being completed (starting just last year). And the other 3 aren't willing to share or disclose how much they know.
The 3 private Decomps are by Users: LinuxWizard, Cracko298, and DeadSkullzJr.
